I made a reservation today...they were very accomodating and we are looking forward to seeing the Desert. we can always stay another day and enjoy seeing all that there is to see. Also will be visiting a classmate from way back when (LOL) who lives in Portland.

Campgrounds in Southeast Maine
Hi..We are leaving for our place in Maine (usuallymakeit in one day)on the 29th or 30 and want to stop somewhere between Portland and Freeport...any ideas for an easy in and easy out overnighter. You help will be appreciated...

Satelite Hook up
I know they say there are no dumb question so I won't say here is one. You can decide for yourself. Our RV is wired for satelite but we have not the slightest idea how to go about getting what we need if we do get it do we have to buy a long term contract? As it is we only really need it for about two maybe three months out of the year. Whatever you can tell me that will help us make a decision will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Hi Sue, Nope never played cards or anything else with Ed....He must have me confused with someone else. Yes I know him as he came to Rhinebeck about the same time a lot of rookies came. I worked in the Kopper Kettle and almost all the Troopers used to come in for coffee. But NOPE no cards and NO parties.
As long as it is only the cold wind blowing I'll be doing OK..Wise guy. LOL

Karen,,,Believe me it is not a 70 degreee wind..just cold. For us that just arrived from the north it is COLD. I can't imagine how the locals here feel. At least we are still "thick blooded". LOL It did feel good the day we arrived at 76 degrees but that changed fast. The only good thing is the cold won't last. Just stay warm and put those bermuda shorts away.

Hello ALL HAPPY NEW YEAR...... I just wrote Mike to say we want to come to put us down.
We arrived in Florida yesterday and it WAS warm. Today NOT. But by Friday back to WARM. Sorry we left you with so much snow. I promise not to brag about a suntan. LOL..

Thanks for your quick replies. I can usually dope things out and At first glance it looked like a nightmare but I found out how to pull the bulb holder out but now have to figure out how to get the bulb out of the holder. I have changed the bulbs in the rear light fixtures but never the front. DH leaves these up to me his DW LOL so if my questions sound dumb yu know the reason. . I think from here we will be able to get it done. I just thought it was going to be a bigger problem than it is.

W-22 Workhorse low beams out-question
Has anyone had this problem and if so is it a hard fix? Do I need to take it to a Chev. service place. One went out and then two days later the other went out. Currently we are in Florida, Titusville area..any suggestions..
